Welcome!

We meet for worship every First Day (Sunday) at 10:30 AM, for about an hour. We are a welcoming and affirming Meeting.  Gay_flag.svg

Beginning Dec. 24, 2023, and until further notice, we will be meeting online only, due to renovations at Strathcona Place Seniors Centre.  Click here for the Zoom link.

We wish to acknowledge that the members and attenders of Edmonton Monthly Meeting come together as Treaty Six people living and worshipping on the homelands of the Blackfoot, Cree, Dene, Métis, Nakota, Saulteaux, and other Indigenous peoples. We are committed to educating ourselves and asking hard questions about the historical and existing power dynamics between settlers and Indigenous peoples on this land. In this way, we remind ourselves of our duty to honour the treaty, and allow this reflection to inform our Meeting’s decisions as we move forward into our shared future. [We are working on a revised version of this land acknowledgement.]

  • If you arrive early and the building is not open yet, please be patient. Someone should be there to open up by no later than 10:20.
  • If you arrive late (after 10:45), the door may be locked again. If so, go to the northeast corner of the building: you’ll see us through the windows, and we’ll see you. Someone will happily get up to let you in. (If we leave the front door open while we’re all in worship, people may wander in off the street to other parts of the building without our awareness.)
